Every figure is arithmetic on the 1 mg vial: concentration = vial mg ÷ water mL; mcg per unit = concentration mg/mL × 1,000 ÷ 100; units = dose mcg ÷ mcg per unit; doses per vial = vial mcg ÷ dose mcg. Doses per vial is 20 in every row because adding water dilutes the same 1 mg — it changes how far you push the plunger, never how much peptide is in the vial. At 1 mg/mL a 50 mcg example draw is 5 units; at 2 mg/mL the same 50 mcg is 2.5 units; at 0.5 mg/mL it is 10 units. At this scale the difference between 2.5 units and 10 units is the difference between an unreadable draw and a readable one.
The same table for the smallest vial sold, 0.1 mg: at 0.5 mL that is 200 mcg/mL and 2 mcg per unit, so a 50 mcg example draw is 25 units; at 1 mL it is 100 mcg/mL, 1 mcg per unit, 50 units; at 2 mL it is 50 mcg/mL, 0.5 mcg per unit and a full 100-unit barrel. The one approved IGF-1 product, mecasermin, is a different molecule with its own label; its dose does not transfer to LR3, and the science article's reading of the modification is that LR3 is engineered to raise the free IGF-1 fraction. IGF-1 LR3 draws are small. At the page default of 1 mg/mL, every figure from 10 mcg to 100 mcg falls between 1 and 10 units on a U-100 barrel — the crowded bottom tenth of the syringe, where one misread unit is a 10 mcg error. More water does not change how much IGF-1 LR3 is in the vial; it changes how much a misread costs. At 2 mg/mL one unit is 20 mcg; at 0.5 mg/mL one unit is 5 mcg. The reconstitution volume is a choice, not a recipe: no label sets one, and no Peptigrity page states one for this compound. The volume you pick is the one that puts your intended microgram figure in a readable part of the barrel — which, for a 0.1–1 mg vial, usually means more water rather than less.

IGF-1 LR3 is a recombinant protein sold in sub-milligram vials, and the label mass is a gross figure. Whatever fraction of the powder is not peptide moves every microgram figure on this page proportionally, and at this scale the proportional error is invisible on the syringe: you cannot see the difference between 45 mcg and 55 mcg at five units. This platform publishes no net-content measurement for IGF-1 LR3, so the arithmetic below is a sensitivity illustration, not a measured variance.

Both establish that vendors are broadly selling the right molecule; neither says anything about the microgram content of your particular vial.

Index methodology, in the Purity Index's own words: “Each compound's index is the mean of its published HPLC purity results, weighted by recency: a test within 90 days counts at full weight, one within a year at 0.6, and older tests at 0.3.” The index publishes a value only for compounds with at least 5 tests; IGF-1 LR3 clears that comfortably at 135.
One compound-specific note. IGF-1 LR3 is a large recombinant protein, so mass-spectrometry identity carries more weight here than it does for a short synthetic peptide: our science article anchors native IGF-1 at 7,649 Da per the FDA's mecasermin label, and treats the mass as the thing that separates LR3 from native IGF-1 and from mecasermin. IGF-1 LR3 is a modified IGF-1 analogue; native IGF-1 is the endogenous growth factor; mecasermin (Increlex) is recombinant human IGF-1 and the only approved IGF-1 product. The difference that matters for a calculator is what is documented: mecasermin has a label with pharmacokinetics and adverse-event rates on it, and IGF-1 LR3 has neither.

The one relevant read-across is our science article's: an approved IGF-1 product with normal binding-protein interaction produced hypoglycaemia in 42% of a monitored paediatric population, and LR3 is engineered to increase the free fraction. IGF-1 DES is the nearest sibling compound and belongs in this table, but no figure for it was fetched for this build, so the table has three columns rather than four.
IGF-1 LR3's most-quoted specification — 83 amino acids, molecular weight around 9,111 daltons, 20-plus hour half-life — is asserted on our compound page and challenged by our own science article, which could not source it.
