About Peptigrity

3 questions

Peptigrity is an independent peptide shop review platform that publishes community reviews, third-party lab test results, and Trust Scores for peptide shops. The platform covers 675 shops across 118 peptides with 13,167 independent lab tests. Peptigrity does not sell peptides, does not accept advertising from listed shops, does not earn affiliate commissions, and operates independently from every shop in its database.

No. We have never sold peptides and do not plan to. Every shop listed is an independent seller - we simply publish data about them.

No ads, no sponsorships, no affiliate commissions. No shop can pay to change their score or move up rankings. Future monetization will come from optional shop tools that do not affect rankings.

Trust Scores

8 questions

The Trust Score is a number from 0 to 100 calculated from two data inputs: the average community review rating and the average HPLC purity percentage from independent lab tests. Community reviews carry 50% weight; lab test purity carries 50% weight — objective purity data and subjective buyer experience are treated as equally important signals. The score also scales by data confidence, calculated separately for each channel: a shop needs meaningful volume in both reviews and lab tests to reach the top of the rankings, which prevents low-volume shops from gaming the rankings with cherry-picked data. The review channel's scaling caps around 24 reviews and the lab channel's around 14 tests, after which the underlying data dominates. Shops with no reviews and no lab tests display a Provisional label. The full methodology is on the General Rules page.

The Trust Score moved from a 0–5 scale to a 0–100 scale to better differentiate shops at the top end. On the old scale, the difference between a 4.7 and a 4.9 looked small, but represented a meaningful gap in data quality. The 0–100 scale makes those differences clearer (e.g., 88 vs 95). The underlying formula still combines reviews (50%) and lab purity (50%) — just on a wider numerical range that's easier to read at a glance.

Each shop review includes 5 sub-ratings on a 1–5 scale: Overall (general satisfaction), Quality (product purity and consistency), Delivery (shipping speed and packaging), Service (customer support responsiveness), and Pricing (value for money). These sub-ratings are averaged separately and displayed as rating bars on each shop page. Each review also includes a 'Would buy again' indicator (yes/no) and free-text descriptions for each sub-rating.

Each review includes a yes/no answer to 'Would you buy from this shop again?' The percentage shown on each shop profile is the share of reviewers who answered yes. This metric is tracked separately from star ratings because buyers sometimes give a 5-star review but say no to buying again (e.g., one-time need for a specific compound), or give a 3-star review but say yes (e.g., minor issues outweighed by good value).

A 'Lab Verified' label means the shop has at least 3 community reviews and at least one approved lab test with a purity result, so the Trust Score combines review ratings (50% weight) and lab purity data (50% weight). Shops with 3 or more reviews and no lab tests display 'Reviews Only'; shops with lab tests and fewer than 3 reviews display 'Lab Tests Only'; shops with 1 or 2 reviews and no lab tests display 'Provisional' until data accumulates. The shop label is not the same thing as the '✓ Lab-verified' status on an individual certificate, which means that one report can be looked up on the testing laboratory's own public portal.

A Provisional label appears on shops with no lab tests on file and fewer than 3 community reviews — the data isn't yet substantial enough to weight reliably. The Trust Score is shown with a disclosure that the data is limited. As reviews and lab tests accumulate, the shop transitions to either 'Reviews Only' or 'Lab Verified' status. Provisional is a data-volume indicator, not a quality judgment.

No. No shop can pay to modify, boost, or suppress their trust score. The scoring algorithm applies equally to every shop. Peptigrity does not accept advertising, sponsorship, or affiliate commissions from any listed shop.

Purity of 98% or higher is considered high quality. Purity between 95-97.9% is acceptable for most research purposes. Purity between 90-94.9% indicates noticeable impurities. Purity below 90% suggests significant quality issues.

Lab Tests

8 questions

Anyone - buyers, shop owners, independent researchers. Every test must come from a qualifying third-party lab with a verifiable Certificate of Analysis.

No. In-house testing by vendors is not accepted. All lab tests on Peptigrity must be performed by third-party testing laboratories with no financial relationship to the peptide shop whose product was tested. This is the key difference between Peptigrity's lab data and vendor-provided Certificates of Analysis published on shop websites — vendor-published CoAs can be cherry-picked or fabricated; third-party lab tests submitted independently cannot.

HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) purity is the percentage of a sample that consists of the target peptide compound. A purity of 98% means 98% of the tested sample is the intended peptide, with 2% consisting of synthesis impurities, degradation products, or residual solvents.

Endotoxin testing measures bacterial contamination in peptide samples, reported in EU/mL. Elevated endotoxin levels in injectable products can cause fever, inflammation, and septic shock. The FDA sets limits at 5 EU/kg of body weight.

HPLC purity analysis costs $50-$180 per sample, endotoxin screening costs $30-$60, and quantity verification is often included with HPLC. A full panel typically costs $80-$150 total.

It gets published. We do not suppress unfavorable results. The shop is notified and may respond publicly.

Each certificate shows whether it has been checked against the testing laboratory's own record. '✓ Lab-verified' means the laboratory runs a public portal that looks up individual reports, and the certificate carries the report number or code to find it there. 'Unverified' means it has not been checked against the laboratory's portal yet; that describes our queue, not the shop. 'Lab has no portal' means the laboratory publishes no public lookup, so the report cannot be confirmed independently; it is not a mark against the certificate or the shop. 'Report no. not found' means the laboratory's portal returned no record for that report number. A certificate whose figures did not match the laboratory's own record is removed from the vial lookup. The status is information for the reader and does not change a shop's Trust Score.

Yes. Enter the lot or batch number printed on the vial at peptigrity.com/coa. The search ignores capital letters, spaces and punctuation. It lists the certificates on file for that lot, grouped by shop, with what the laboratory measured against the label and each certificate's confirmation status. One lot number can belong to more than one shop, so results from different shops are never merged. Placeholders such as 'N/A', cap colours and codes shorter than 5 characters cannot identify a batch, so they are not searched. A certificate describes the vial from that lot the laboratory tested, not the vial in your hand.

Reviews

4 questions

Anyone signed in to a Peptigrity account. We do not check purchase history, so every review shows who wrote it and when. One review per shop per account.

Yes, within 24 hours of submission. While logged in, you'll see an Edit button on your own review card — you can update any field (ratings, comments, would-buy-again). After 24 hours the review is locked.

No. Once the 24-hour edit window closes, reviews are permanent. The only exception is if you posted to the wrong shop — contact us and we'll handle it case-by-case.

We remove reviews that violate 4 criteria: fake purchase, defamation, doxxing, or ToS violation. We do not remove reviews for being negative.

Community

5 questions

A shop board is a forum space attached to a shop's page, at /shops/ followed by the shop's name and /board. Anyone signed in can start a discussion thread on it. Only the shop's owners can post stock updates, new-batch threads, notices and promos, and they can pin up to 3 threads. A new-batch thread links to a lab test already on file for that shop; a board never holds certificate data of its own. Reviews belong in the shop's Reviews tab, not on the board. Board activity is not a Trust Score or ranking input.

Every post by an account that has claimed a shop carries a 'Shop owner' tag with the shop's name next to the username: in discussion threads and replies, on shop boards, on review responses and answers to questions, and on the profile. It comes from the claim record, cannot be assigned by hand and cannot be switched off. It is a disclosure, so readers know when they are reading the vendor. It is not an endorsement, and claiming a shop does not change its Trust Score.

Yes. Members may discuss any shop, compare vendors and ask which shop, which batch and what it cost. The limits: compound names only, not product brand names; discussion of hormone therapies is allowed but sourcing them is not, and no controlled substances; shop owners may post promotions, store links and discount codes only in their own shop board and on /promotions; no personal information, threats, hate speech or content involving minors. The forum is for adults (18+). The full rules are in the Content moderation section of the methodology page.

A group buy is a listing at /discussions/group-buys where an organizer coordinates a shared order and members claim slots. Organizers need 3 or more published reviews, or the Researcher tier. Payment is arranged off-site by the organizer. Peptigrity holds no money, runs no escrow or wallets, shows payment notes as plain text with no clickable links, and vouches for no organizer. When a buy is marked delivered, the organizer must post an outcome: what arrived, in what condition, and whether it was tested. Group buys are not a Trust Score or ranking input.

The forum, shop boards and group-buy listings are for people aged 18 or over, so they ask you to confirm your age. It is a self-declaration and nothing is checked. Answering yes stores a cookie on this device for one year; if you are signed in, the answer is also saved to your account so your other devices do not ask again. Answering no takes you to the home page. Compound pages, lab tests, prices and shop listings are open to everyone and do not ask.

For Shops

5 questions

Sign in first. If the shop has a website, press Claim on the shop's page and tell us how we can check that you run it: an email from an address on the shop's domain, or a page on the site that links to your Peptigrity profile. If the shop has no website, use the claim page at /claim/ followed by the shop's page address and prove a contact channel instead: pick one of the shop's listed channels or add the one you control, post the exact text 'Peptigrity verification' in it from an admin account, then press 'I posted it'. There is no code and no bot; a member of our team opens the channel and confirms by hand. For WeChat, send a link to a screenshot. Claiming is free. It lets you post stock, batch, notice and promo threads on your shop board, reply to reviews, answer questions and list promotions, and up to 5 accounts can manage one shop. It does not change the Trust Score, the ranking or which reviews are shown.

Yes. Claimed shops can post public responses threaded under each review.

Free.

Yes. When adding a shop, mark it as having no website, give the shop's name and at least one contact channel, such as Telegram, WhatsApp, WeChat or Signal. A submitted shop appears once our team has reviewed it. The shop's page then lists its contact channels in place of a website link. A channel shows as 'Stated' when the shop or a submitter typed it in and nobody has checked it, and as 'Confirmed' once the shop proved control of it during a claim. For WhatsApp and Signal numbers, readers see only the last four digits. A shop without a website is scored with the same formula as every other shop: no penalty and no bonus.

No. Shops cannot pay for removal or request delisting. Once listed, the shop remains along with all reviews and lab test data. This policy protects the integrity of the review history.
