new lab asked to get into our testing labs directory back in august. we didnt add them and i dont want to just sit on it quietly, so heres what we checked and where it got stuck. if anyone knows more, please jump in.
what checks out:
their COA lookup works. we pulled three report numbers and they came back as real reports. thats the big one and its ticked. entity is Zyntro LLC, wyoming registered, college station TX address on the site.
what we couldnt verify:
no names anywhere. no chemist, no director, nobody.
address is a PMB. normal for a small lab but theres nothing to check.
the three testimonials on the homepage (BioVenture Research, NutriPure Supplements, Apex Biotechnology) - couldnt find any of those companies or people.
zero footprint outside their own site. no forum mentions, no shop using them, nothing.
and the main claim was access to a university lab and its LC-MS. we asked for anything that links zyntro to that facility - redacted agreement, email from the facility, even a short video with a code word we'd give them. what we got was a photo of the facility that reverse-searches straight to the university's own website. after that, nothing.
to be clear, none of this proves anything bad. the portal returns real reports so someone is producing results. we just cant tell where, on what, or by who, and the one strong claim didnt hold up when we poked it once. so status is "couldnt verify", not "fake".
where you could help:
anyone sent them a sample and got a report back? did the number resolve in their lookup?
any shop publishing zyntro COAs?
anyone around college station / A&M who knows about an outside-user setup like this?
if real proof turns up we'll list them and say so right here. until then if you see a zyntro COA on a shop page, treat it as unverified and check the batch yourself.
