The Daily Dose

Five questions, once a day, the same five for everyone on earth. It opens with a question you already know the answer to and ends with a piece of syringe arithmetic — and between them sits a riddle whose clues never use a single technical word.

How the round is scored

Nine hundred points are on the table. The warm-up, the invented-name round, the myth-or-fact call and the closing arithmetic question are worth a hundred each. The riddle carries the other five hundred, and it is the only question that can be negotiated: it opens at 500 with one clue showing, drops a hundred for every extra clue you unlock — never below 200 — and fifty for every wrong guess, never below 100. Revealing the answer outright scores nothing, and is only offered once all four clues are on the table.

What it teaches

Three habits, mostly by accident. That invented compound names are easy to build and hard to spot — the entire reason that round exists. That a widely repeated claim and a documented fact feel identical until somebody checks, which the myth-or-fact reveals do in two sentences. And that the arithmetic between a vial, a volume of bacteriostatic water and a mark on a syringe barrel is short division, not expertise — the same maths the peptide calculator runs on your own numbers.

One round a day

The round resets at UTC midnight and is picked from the question banks by date, so every player sees the same five questions on the same day and your result is comparable with anyone else’s. Come back after finishing and you see your score and the countdown, not a second attempt. Your streak lives in your own browser: no account, and nothing leaves the device.
