Rapid fire · 8s each

Cold Chain

7 storage and handling scenarios, eight seconds apiece. Fine, or not fine? The clock is there to stop you overthinking calls you already half know — and every answer comes back with the reason it went the way it did.

COLD CHAIN7 CARDS
7 storage calls. Eight seconds each. Fine — or not fine?

How it is scored

One point per correct call, 7 on the table, no penalty for a wrong one beyond the point you did not get. Running out of time counts as a miss, which is the only reason the timer exists. Seven out of seven is a clean sheet; five or more is comfortably safe hands. The reason line appears whether you were right or not — the game is a delivery mechanism for those, not a test.

What the scenarios cover

Temperature, light, water and time: a sealed freeze-dried vial versus a reconstituted one, the difference bacteriostatic water makes and why, what a windowsill does, what freeze-thaw cycling does, and why agitation is the one handling habit that looks efficient and is not. All of it is consensus handling practice, the sort of thing a product insert states plainly. None of it is about what to take or how much — that never appears anywhere in this section.

If you would rather not race

Turn on your operating system’s reduce-motion setting and the countdown switches off entirely: the cards then advance on a button, at your pace, with the same scoring. The timer is not hidden, it is disabled — nothing expires behind your back. For the long-form version of the same material, the testing guide and the calculators carry it without a clock.
