Title: Forto Labs has closed: what happened, and alternatives with lab tests on file

Shop Talk1 reply · 44 views · last reply Jump to latest ↓

If you ordered from Forto Labs, you may have noticed: the shop is gone.

What happened

On October 8, Forto replaced its whole website with a short closing notice. In plain English it says:

  • Forto decided on its own to stop operating and stop selling.
  • It keeps the Forto name and brand.
  • Anyone claiming to be Forto, its "successor", or selling Forto products has nothing to do with the company.
  • Questions go to [email protected]

That's it. No reason, and nothing about open orders or refunds.

One thing stood out to us: the wording is almost word for word what Peptide Sciences posted when it closed in March. Forto is the latest in a long line this year: Science.bio in January, Peptide Sciences in March, Strate Labs in July, Eternal Peptides and Chameleon Peptides in September. Reporting on those closures points to FDA pressure, drug-maker lawsuits over GLP-1s and payment processors pulling out. Forto hasn't said what, if anything, applied to them.

Where to look instead

Forto's pitch was US shipping and third-party testing. So the closest swap is a shop that ships to the US and has a real lab record. These are the top five on our ranking right now (1 Nov 2026), and all of them ship to the US:

Two tips for reading that list:

  • Look at the last test date, not just the score. A recent test tells you more about what's shipping today.
  • Make sure the shop has tests for the compound you buy. Click through to the shop page; it's all there.

Scores change every time a test or review lands, so this list will drift. Here's the live version: peptide shops that ship to the US. No shop can pay to be on it or to move up it, and none of these links carry an affiliate code.

One honest note: a strong record today doesn't promise a shop will still be here next year, and 2026 has made that pretty clear. Start with a small order, and check the lot number on your vial in the COA lookup.

Quick checklist if you still have Forto vials or an open order:

1. Paid, but nothing shipped?
Email [email protected] with your order number. Keep the receipt and any screenshots. If you paid by card and get no answer, call your card issuer and ask about a dispute. Don't wait weeks, because those windows close.

2. Vials in the fridge?
The closure doesn't change what's inside them. What it changes is that Forto can't send you a batch COA or a replacement anymore. If you saved any COA PDFs, keep them safe, because the site that hosted them is gone.
Want to know what's actually in a vial? Here's how to get one tested and what the labs charge. Post your result here or submit it and it goes on the public record.

3. Be careful with "Forto is back" offers.
Forto's own notice says nobody is authorized to act as its successor or sell its products. A DM offering "leftover Forto stock", a "Forto 2.0" site or a reseller with Forto-labelled vials is a red flag. You have no way to check what's in those vials. Seen one? Post it in Scam watch so others don't get caught.

4. Picking your next shop
Look for a recent lab test on the exact compound you were buying, not just any test. Check where the shop ships from. Keep the first order small.

What did you usually buy from Forto? Drop it below and we'll point you to the shops with the most recent tests for it.
