we ran verification on sterigenixanalytical.com. credit first: they replied fast, in detail, admitted real errors we found in a certificate (wrong CAS number, peptide-template fields misapplied to a small molecule), corrected them across affected certificates, and asked us to list them plainly as NOT accredited. thats more cooperation than most labs give.
what we confirmed: the entity behind it is real. HBF Group, LLC, registered in montana december 2025, active and in good standing. the domain is from may 2026. a public verify portal exists and they say any third party can check any report there. they accept third-party submissions and say vendors cant suppress results submitted by someone else.
what stopped us is everything after that. HBF Group is, by their own description, the parent of 7 companies "including suppliers." their site says every assay is run by a party with no commercial interest in the result. if the lab and suppliers share an owner, those two statements need reconciling, and they havent answered which of the 7 sell compounds or whether the lab has tested a sibling company's product.
their price list also includes duplicate COAs reissued under additional company names at $40 per product per company. we asked whether a duplicate says its a duplicate, whether the verify portal links it back to the original, and whether the second company ever touches the material. if one physical test can appear under several shop names, several shops can each look independently tested off a single sample. no answer.
the actual testing happens at an undisclosed "partnered research clinic" in jacksonville, and the people on certificates are initials plus internal ID numbers, nothing independently checkable.
we offered a simple path to verified status: any two independently checkable proofs the instruments exist - a serial number the manufacturer can confirm, a service ticket, a dated photo with the serial plate legible - plus the street address where they sit. no response in two weeks.
so: real company, genuinely responsive on chemistry, silent on ownership, independence and hardware. we're not claiming to know anyone's intent. their COAs stay labeled as from an unverified lab until the open questions close, and the offer to close them stands.
if you have a sterigenix COA: does the verify portal return it? and has anyone seen the same report number or the same batch show up under two different shop names? that last one we'd really like to see.
